    Site Superintendent

    Job Title: Site Superintendent

    Job Summary: Responsible for the overall supervision and execution of construction activities on a project site. This includes planning, scheduling, coordinating, and directing the work of all personnel, materials, and subcontractors to meet project objectives within budget and schedule constraints. The Site Superintendent ensures compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and all applicable codes.

    Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

    Understanding of the contract and scope of work, ensuring scope of work is clearly communicated to trades, and uploading weekly progress photos

    Identifying, and eliminating/controlling all actual or potential hazards and risks and providing documentation in conjunction with the General Superintendent and Safety Manager

    Reviewing drawings and specifications and developing and communicating the 3 week look-ahead schedule

    Conducting weekly progress review meetings with Trades to review weekly schedule and updating accordingly

    Maintaining site files, supplies, equipment, and services

    Attending all project meetings including but not limited to: Pre-Start up meetings, Weekly Sub-Trade meetings, Owners meetings etc

    Participating in developing a cost-effective plan and scheduling for completion of the project and following a logical pattern for utilization of resources

    Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the site including office, lunch room, storage facilities etc.

    In conjunction with the General Superintendent, arranging for and assembling the job site office, materials and equipment, and storage facilities

    Coordinating the work of subcontractors working on various phases of the project and ensuring that all sub-contractors are complying with mandatory safety requirements

    Providing on-site supervision for all project personnel and phases of construction, resolving complaints and grievances with employees

    Keeping a daily log of site activities on the project including but not limited to: all trades and number of personnel/trade, description of work, weather, and safety hazards or issues

    Managing and maintaining a safe work site, ensuring that all requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Code are met and that all policies are followed, while reporting and investigating onsite incidents and emergencies in a proactive manner

    Tracking inventory for tools and equipment and initializing requisitions for needed parts/repairs or materials.

    Requirements:

    Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction

    Knowledge of local market

    Experience in supervising and organizing mid-large crew sizes

    Familiarity with various Microsoft Office application (Project specifically), Blue beam

    Combination of work experience in a similar role and industry related trade certification / education.

    Solid understanding of modern construction practices.

    Ability to plan, create, and manage a project schedule.

    A strong attention to detail, proven problem resolution skills and superior interpersonal skills are also required for this position.

    Must have previous project site experience with a proven safety record

    Project exposure to jobs $10M-200M

    Experience in multi-family and multi-story construction is preferred.

    Salary $90,000 Plus bonuses

    Branch Manager

    Job Title: Branch Manager

    Position Summary:

    A Branch Service Manager's responsibility is managing the shop floor and handling minor shop administrative tasks that are the result of preventative maintenance and repairs. The branch service manager oversees the maintenance supervisor and/or technicians to assure the location aligns business objectives and customers demands.

    Major Responsibilities:

    Manage preventative maintenance scheduling, quality, and customer satisfaction

    Listen to and resolve customer complaints regarding services, products, or personnel

    Hire, train, and evaluate personnel

    Assure that each direct report understands the company objectives

    Confer with company officials to develop methods and procedures to increase sales, expand markets, and promote business

    Direct and supervise associates engaged in sales, inventory-taking, reconciling cash receipts, or performing specific services, s such as pumping gasoline for customers

    Provide staff with assistance in performing difficult or complicated duties

    Plan and prepare work schedules, and assign associates to specific duties

    Attend company meetings to exchange product information and coordinate work activities with other departments

    Prepare sales and inventory reports for management and budget departments

    Formulate pricing policies according to profitability requirements

    Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor Qualifications:

    Qualifications:

    At least 3 years of previous work experience in diesel shop maintenance required

    At least 1 years of supervisory experience required

    Associates Degree (business or technical) or Vo-Tech Graduate required

    In-depth knowledge of all vehicle components including: engine, drive train, air-brakes, cooling systems, electrical systems, accessories, suspension, and tires required

    Brake/air brake certification, diesel certification, EPA 608/609 certification, and HVAC certification required.

    Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and Powerpoint required

    Strong written/oral communication and people management skills required

    Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

    Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete a Penske employment application, submit to a reference verification (to include past employment and education) are required

    Residential Construction Estimator

    Job Title: Residential Construction Estimator

    Job Summary: Residential Construction Estimator analyze costs of and prepare estimates on civil engineering, architectural, structural, electrical and mechanical construction projects.

    Job duties:

    Prepare estimates of probable costs of materials, labour and equipment for construction projects based on contract bids, quotations, schematic drawings and specifications

    Advise on tendering procedures, examine and analyze tenders, recommend tender awards and conduct negotiations

    Establish and maintain tendering process and set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures

    Prepare cost and expenditure statements and forecasts at regular intervals for the duration of a project

    Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors

    Liaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors, and prepare economic feasibility studies on changes and adjustments to cost estimates

    Manage and coordinate construction projects and prepare construction progress schedules.

    Salary: $65,000 plus bonuses
